About Us

This bi-annual magazine is put together by journalists and activists working for social and economic justice in Central America. It has close ties with UK-based Central America solidarity organisations, including the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign, the Guatemala Solidarity Network and the El Salvador Network.

With access to the experiences and views of those working on the ground in Central America, the publication is a valuable source of information on the region.The magazine provides coverage of the major political, economic, social and cultural issues affecting Central America and its individual countries. It also looks at campaigns working to improve human rights, environmental protection and labour standards, among others, and includes articles from activists who are directly involved. Furthermore, it provides readers with information about how they can take action to support campaigns, and advertises forthcoming events, such as talks with visiting speakers from the region and study tours.
